Kenny Bumbaco's Electronic Portfolio

Personal Information

On this page I present my qualifications outside of teaching abilities themselves.  In my resume, I describe my educational and job history, my awards and honors, and my interests.  In my teaching philosophy, I present my views on teaching.

My personal history:

I, Kenny Bumbaco, was born in 1985 in New Jersey.  My family relocated to Virginia Beach in 1987.  My father is a civil engineer for a major engineering firm in Virginia Beach.  My mother has worked most recently as a working lead for Lillian Vernon.  After graduating from high school, I attended the College of William and Mary receiving my B.A. in Hispanic Studies with a second major in Latin in May 2007.  I complete my M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in August 2008 with an endorsement in Latin and Spanish.  While studying at William and Mary, I have been employed with Smithfield Specialty Foods at the Peanut Shop in Merchant's Square in Williamsburg.  I have worked my way from a sales associate to manager in four years with the company.  I believe my strong work ethic have taken me far in this job.  I am looking forward to beginning a new challenge in teaching!
